Oh, that’s why I feel like I just lost 10 lbs in 50 minutes cutting the lawn. It’s the humidity, stupid!
And it’s going to rain. Too bad I can’t walk right now without getting dizzy or I would throw some fertilizer on.

It’s so unseasonably cold where I am right now. It feels like October, not June. It is awful.

People who live in other places - “pffft we regularly experience higher relative humidity at higher atmospheric temperatures therefor your concerns are invalid.”

We just had a front come through and drop the humidity from 70% to 29%. On my run this morning it felt glorious, even though it was still 81F.

We’ve got some single digit humidity right now, extra extra dry haha. So yeah while its upper 80s as a high, it feels kinda nice anyways. Being within sight distance of the ocean, its not usually this dry nor hot. But I just received a swamp cooler in the mail and it works great.
Woke up in the morning to it being 82 in my room at 730am so its gonna be an even hotter one today. Cranked the swamp cooler on and its been hovering around 74 in my room ever since. Only downside is having to go fill a bucket with water every 3 or 4 hours and carry it back up to my room. But thats okay, it certainly works and isnt too large or noisy. Its actually quieter than my box fan anyways. This thing has a garden hose hookup so I need to rig that up at some point and then I can skip the bucket entirely.

October is one of the hottest months of the year around here so your statement confused me at first lol. And thanks to the typical marine layer, June can easily be one of the coldest daytime highs. Not this year though apparently.

Definitely not. This house is not set up for that nor would the landlord be okay with me using that much electricity. AC is kind of pointless without the humidity anyways. Swamp cooler is plenty efficient here since the humid days tend to be cooler days. I dont need nor want it to be sub 70 indoors anyways so Im happy with this setup. It only got so warm by morning because I didnt run the cooler overnight and its a particularly hot day. It was 74- 76 most of the night indoors which was just about ideal to me considering humidity didnt get above 30%.
